Viking Themed Wedding
Being the wedding photographer at a Viking themed wedding is so much fun. After hearing about Steff and Luke’s idea for a Viking themed autumn wedding. We knew it would be an opportunity to create a unique photography gallery for them. We were very excited about the different possibilities that would arise from their unusual big day.
Holme-on-Spalding-Moor Wedding Photographers
Steff and Luke run a business together creating Viking and Saxon Re-enactment Equipment. They also tour the world demonstrating Viking re-enactment. The wedding guests were dressed as Vikings. making the entrance through the arch of swords suitably impressive!
Themed Wedding Photographers
Steff and Luke were not looking for any posed photographs, instead wanting a photojournalistic style. Being shy in front of the camera this worked well. Blending into the background and capturing their individuality and personality. Having two wedding photographers on the day meant we did not miss any little moment in the day.
Fun filled wedding
They had a special day filled with love and happiness from their handmade wedding theme. A real labour of love and it showed. Choosing a cheerful village hall for their reception in Holme-Upon-Spalding. Everything through from the decorations to the food was homemade. An intimate, family wedding filled with amazing DIY projects. Even their stunning wedding cakes!
Wedding Details
It was clear to see how much the day meant to every person involved. There were so many moments we were able to capture. The bride and groom, a real two-person team, as well as their excited friends and family. Beautiful, unconventional moments of the day were a delight to discover. We felt lucky to be the ones photographing such a great couples wedding.
