Do We Get Both of You on Our Wedding Day?

Yes, you do! Every one of our packages includes both Jon and Mary. Whether you’ve booked photography, videography, or both, having the two of us there means nothing gets missed and everything flows smoothly.

In the morning, Jon is usually with the groom and groomsmen while Mary captures all the beautiful bridal prep moments. Throughout the day, having two sets of eyes (and cameras!) allows us to shoot from different angles, catch more candid moments, and tell a fuller story of your day.

One of our absolute favourite reasons for working as a duo? Being able to capture the bride’s entrance from both the front and behind—plus that all-important reaction from the groom. It’s moments like these that you’ll treasure forever, and having both of us there means you won’t miss a thing.

Where Are You Based & Do You Travel?

We’re based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, but we’re always up for an adventure! We regularly travel across the UK for weddings, and if you’re planning a destination wedding abroad. Count us in!


We absolutely love travelling, and what better excuse than capturing a love story in a beautiful new setting? In our opinion, bringing a UK-based photographer you connect with is a smart move. Photography is deeply personal, and clear communication is key. Especially when you’re miles from home. Our passports are ready, our bags are half-packed, and we’d love to hear about your plans, wherever in the world they may be!

Are You Insured?

Yes, absolutely—we’re fully insured. We have public and products liability, professional indemnity, employer’s liability, and portable equipment insurance, so you’re fully covered when you book us.

Some venues ask for proof of insurance, and that’s no problem at all—we’re more than happy to provide the necessary documents to them directly. Peace of mind for you, and for your venue too!

Can We Upgrade Our Package If Needed?

Absolutely! Lots of couples start with one of our photography packages and later decide to add videography or extra coverage—and that’s totally fine. Around 8 weeks before your big day, we’ll be in touch to go over all the final details. That’s the perfect time to make any changes, add hours, or upgrade your package to suit how your plans have evolved. We’re here to make sure your coverage fits your day perfectly, whatever shape it takes.

Do You Shoot LGBTQ+ Weddings?

Absolutely, yes. Love is love—and we are here to celebrate it in all its beautiful forms. We’ve had the honour of photographing many LGBTQ+ weddings, and we’re passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space for every couple we work with.

If there’s anything you’d like us to be mindful of—pronouns, family dynamics, or anything else—please just let us know. We’re here to support you and your guests with kindness and respect, and to make sure you feel completely comfortable being yourselves on your wedding day.

How Many Photos Should I Expect to Receive?

We don’t set a strict photo limit—we shoot in an unlimited way and only remove the ones you wouldn’t want (like duplicates, blinks, or those unflattering mid-speech expressions!). With both of us capturing your day from different angles, you’ll usually receive 800+ fully edited images for a full day of coverage.

The exact number can vary depending on things like how long we’re with you, the number of guests, locations, lighting, and how much time is spent travelling between spots. But rest assured, you’ll receive a rich and thorough gallery that tells the full story of your day.

Because we only take on a limited number of weddings each year, we’re able to give each one our full attention. You’ll get a sneak peek within a week, and your full gallery within 12 weeks—often even sooner!

We really recommend having a look through a full gallery to see how we capture an entire day. You’ll find lots of examples in our blog posts, and if you’d like to see more, just give us a shout—we’re always happy to share.

What Is the Booking Process?

We can’t tell you how many times couples have fallen in love with our work—only to discover we’re already booked for their date. It breaks our hearts! So, as soon as you’ve locked in your venue and wedding date, get in touch to check our availability. We only take on one wedding per day and work on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking is definitely the way to go.

To officially secure your date with Stories Of I Do, we just need two things: A deposit and a signed contract. Once that’s sorted, you’re all booked in! The remaining balance isn’t due until two months before your big day, giving you plenty of time to focus on planning all the fun stuff.

Do You Offer Prints or Albums?

Yes, absolutely! We’ve partnered with some of the best luxury storybook printing companies across the UK and Europe to offer beautiful self-design albums and high-quality print options—all available directly through your private gallery.


You’ll also receive a full licence to print your photos for personal use wherever you like. But if you’re after something extra special, we also give you access to professional printing labs (the kind only photographers can use), so you can order stunning prints, wall art, and keepsakes that truly do your photos justice.
