Lauren and Luke began their day in nearby Airbnb's, amidst their closest family and friends, before heading to the ceremony at the Craven Arms Pub and Cruck Barn Appletreewick, Skipton. Cruck barn in Skipton is fast becoming a popular destination to host a wedding, and we can certainly see why! The Craven Arms Pub and Cruck Barn provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate wedding day. Lauren wore a contemporary pink gown from British designer Needle and Thread. Laurens choice of wedding dress was classy yet modern, with dotted tulle creating multi-tiered ruddles and intricate trims, this unique gown certainly made an impact.
Yorkshire Wedding Photographers
There was so much about this wedding that made it a real spectacle for us to photograph. The fine wooden beams framed with fairy lights were an elegant backdrop for their humanist wedding ceremony. Hands were tied, the wine was mixed, and words were said that bound a love forevermore. The magnificent couple choked back happy tears as they said their vows to a rapture of applause.

When we took Lauren and Luke for their private couple portraits is when the magic truly began. Outside with these epic two in tow was unbelievable. We are documentary wedding photographers but loved making some grand portraits and creative wedding photography amidst the fading light. Just by these wedding photos, you can see how happy these two are together. The rain poured, letting the romance shine through. Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain! Our creative wedding photography showcases a day that was nothing short of sensational. This day was spectacular because of the love between these newlyweds, and their loved ones that matter most.

Back at the barn, it was time for speeches. Spot the horror on today's groom's face as his best man shares a few too many home truths with the wedding party! As the daylight faded and the illumination came solely from candles and fairy lights, Lauren and Luke took centre stage to dance their first dance of all dances. In each other's arms, they took the steps that would be the first in their biggest adventure. The choice of lyrics, Paramore, The Only Exception, shared the pairs vulnerability in the face of love.

Lauren and Luke chose a brilliant DJ to inject that party vibe into the evening entertainment. Their special day was all planned out so meticulously. Sharing in it with some remarkable people and a vibe that was completely their own in all aspects meant Lauren and Luke's wedding was flawless!
