York Wedding Photographers
Louise and Josh had a relaxed wedding in York. We first met Louise and Josh for their engagement shoot at the York Marriott Hotel. This location was their soon to be the wedding venue. On their bright November day, the York Marriott Hotel looked perfect for their big day.
Bonfire night weddings can run the risk of adverse weather or freezing temperatures. Luckily Louise and Josh hit the jackpot on their wedding day! The sky was a beautiful bright blue and the sunshine cast beautiful golden light across York.
Sneak Peek – Wedding at York Marriott
Here is a little Sneak Peek of the first photographs edited from their big day. We met up with them as they were getting ready. Mary photographed Louise preparing with her bridal party at the York Marriott Hotel. Jon was only a few minutes walk away with Josh and his brother/best man at the Holiday Inn around the corner.
Louise and Josh were so excited to marry; they were both beaming from ear to ear all day long. This made them such an easy couple to photograph, capturing real, happy moments. They are such a fun, loving couple to spend the day with and their wedding day was equally relaxed. Guests arrived at The Parish Church of Saint Edward the Confessor Dringhouses. Their wedding ceremony was full of emotion! We event like this it makes being York Wedding Photographers worth while.
Wedding at Saint Edward Dringhouses
As soon as the vicar pronounced them husband and wife we made our way back to the York Marriott Hotel. Later in the day, Stories Of I Do took Lousie and Josh aside for some beautiful portraits as the sun was starting to set. The grounds of the York Marriott hotel looked beautiful in Autumn. The golden leaves on the ground made them look completely alone and in the middle of a forest! It was an excellent time for the newlyweds to catch their breath. Spending some time together alone while we snapped away. The golden hour light worked very nicely. As you can see we were able to create some striking images in the grounds of the hotel.
Disney Themed Wedding
Their Disney themed wedding reception was subtle and magical. Finished off by dancing and an evening of sparklers. This was a fantastic touch for their Bonfire Night wedding and resulted in some great images!
